Abbottabad op a conspiracy against Pakistan: Jhagra

PESHAWAR – Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) central leader Iqbal Zafar Jhagra stated that Osama bin Laden had died long before and the US Abbottabad operation was a drama to blemish Pakistan.

Addressing a public gathering held in connection with Yaum-e-Takbeer here on Saturday, Jhagra said the day of becoming nuclear power was not only important for Pakistan but also for the entire Muslim Ummah as a whole. He said Mian Nawaz Sharif, back in 1998, refused to every ‘offer’ and pressure on the part of the US and made the country defence invincible.

In the presence of MNA Imtiaz Sultan Bukhari, MPA Shazia Aurangzeb, President PML-N Youth Wing Shamur Rehman Khattak, Mian Rashid Ali, Khadim Ali Yusufzai and other district level office-bearers of the party from across the province, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said the presence of the people on the occasion proved that they were ready to come out on one call of their leadership.

He said that Dr Abdul Qadeer, an unforgettable personality, was, also not spared and was maltreated during Musharraf era adding that the series of occurrences during the last three months in the country could not be forgotten. “The drama of Osama killing was staged,” he stated.
