“Club of Rome’s” Turner touts population control in Cancun climate talks
Well, they’ve finally decided to be transparent about it. Apparently, WikiLeaks is causing enough problems that some people, such as Ted Turner, feel that now is the time to let the world know that population control is indeed on Cancun’s international climate change agenda, according to a Sunday www.theglobeandmail.com article. He is proposing a “global one-child policy,” which would fit snugly with the global One World banking system George Soros has promised is in the works as well as the rest of the New World Order agenda.
Those who are regular subscribers to this page will recall that this very concept was raised by this Examiner in Sunday’s article in relation to the Copenhagen talks, but at the time of this Examiner’s post, the news of Ted Turner’s push for population control had not yet been made public. That happened only minutes later.
The Globe and Mail goes on to note that, “Mr. Turner spoke at a luncheon where economist Brian O’Neill from the U.S.’s National Center for Atmospheric Research unveiled his study on the impact of demographic trends on future greenhouse gas emission, a little-discussed subject given its political sensitivity.”
O’Neill feels that the best way to reduce greenhouse gas emission is to discourage couples from having children.
Turner suggested that, “countries should follow China’s lead in instituting a one-child policy to reduce global population over time.” And that, “fertility rights could be sold so that poor people could profit from their decision not to reproduce.”
