U.S. Sen. Jon Kyl sent off a letter this morning to Milwaukee County Supervisor Peggy West, suggesting a geography lesson.

In a speech arguing for her city to boycott Arizona over SB 1070, West said she might consider 1070 if this was Texas “which is a state that is directly on the border with Mexico.” But, she continued — in a statement forever immortalized on YouTube — “This is a state that is a ways removed from the border.”
Kyl sent her a letter noting West might be interested to know Arizona shares a border with Mexico. He also enclosed a map of the United States for her convenience, highlighting Arizona with yellow marker and scrawling “Arizona” on the margin.
Men With Foil Hats has this to say:
Here is Ms. West detailing the reasons for boycotting Arizona. The number one reason: “It is just so far removed that it doesn’t make sense to me.”
That being said, we at Men With Foil Hats have found just the person to help her out. Perhaps this young lady can solve the riddle why ignorant people can’t find places like Arizona on a map.
This would be funny if this didn’t describe the fundamental problem with America today.
What the hell, in HUMOR it goes!
