Eugenics: " The study of methods of improving genetic qualities by selective breeding ( especially as applied to human mating )". You might not be familiar with the eugenics movement in the early 20th century. You also maybe unaware that as early as 1849, bills were proposed to legislature for forced sterilization of "undesirables." While many would associate such an idea with the Hitler, you would be suprised to know that "selective breeding" was an American ideal that was adopted by the Nazi regime. So is the eugenics movement alive and well in the 21st century? You bet! John Holdren, Obamas Science Czar, proposed in his 1977 book "Ecoscience" methods of population control with the use of forced sterilizations that could be mandated by OUR government.
